Photos taken at a very sunny Spa Valley Railway. The trains in use today were a class 37, a class 73, a class 12, a Drewry industrial loco and a very special Tamper unit.
We had a few rides up and down the line including a couple of brake van rides - one to High Rocks in front of the class 12 and the Drewry, the other was a special ride to Groombridge behind the Tamper. Something we are unlikely to experience again!

This class 12 is the only survivor of the class. It was designed by Oliver Bulleid and has the boxpok style wheels usually found on steam engines designed by Bulleid

The following sequence of photos were taken from a brakevan ride pushed by the Drewry locomotive and the class 12. This was a special that went from Tunbridge Wells to High Rocks and return. This gives a different perspective of the railway that we haven't had before.
